You’re not dealing with guesswork anymore. Your navigation is precise, your fishfinder shows exactly what’s below, and your audio system delivers crystal-clear sound even in rough conditions.
No more frustrating dead zones or equipment failures when you’re miles offshore. No more wondering if your GPS will guide you safely home in fog or darkness.
Your boat becomes a command center where every system works seamlessly together, giving you the confidence to explore further and fish longer than ever before.
We’ve been serving discerning boat owners throughout Long Island since our founding in Port Jefferson Station. We understand that your vessel represents a significant investment, and every installation reflects that understanding.
Our approach isn’t about being the cheapest option in Medford. It’s about being the most reliable. When you’re navigating the waters around Long Island Sound or heading out to the fishing grounds, you need electronics you can trust completely.
We’ve built our reputation on treating every boat like our own, because we know that half-measures and shortcuts have no place in marine electronics installation.
We start with a detailed assessment of your boat and your specific needs. Whether you’re a weekend angler targeting striped bass in the Sound or a serious offshore fisherman, we design your electronics package around how you actually use your boat.
Next comes the installation phase, where our certified technicians handle everything from custom wiring to waterproof connections. We use marine-grade materials exclusively and follow ABYC standards for every connection.
Before you take delivery, we conduct a comprehensive sea trial to ensure every system performs flawlessly. We’ll walk you through the operation of each component, so you’re completely comfortable with your new electronics before you head out on your own.
Ready to get started?
Your marine electronics installation includes everything from advanced fishfinders and GPS chartplotters to premium audio systems and radar integration. We work with the industry’s leading brands including Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine, and Furuno.
For Medford boaters, we understand the unique challenges of Long Island waters. The shallow bays require different sonar settings than the deep waters offshore. The crowded weekend traffic demands reliable radar and AIS integration.
Our installations account for the salt spray, temperature extremes, and vibration that your electronics will face in local conditions. Every wire is properly routed, every connection is sealed, and every component is mounted to withstand whatever Mother Nature delivers.
Installation time varies significantly based on the complexity of your system and your boat’s existing wiring. A basic fishfinder and GPS combo might take a full day, while a complete electronics package with radar, autopilot, and premium audio can require 3-5 days.
We never rush an installation to meet an artificial deadline. Proper marine wiring takes time, especially when we’re running new cables through bulkheads or integrating multiple systems. We’d rather take the extra time to do it right than have you deal with problems on the water.
Before we start any work, we’ll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific installation requirements.
We’re factory-certified installers for all major marine electronics manufacturers including Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, and Lowrance. This certification means we have direct access to technical support, warranty procedures, and the latest installation guidelines.
We also work with premium audio brands like JL Audio, Fusion, and Polk for marine sound systems. For radar and communication equipment, we install ICOM, Standard Horizon, and other professional-grade systems.
Our technicians receive ongoing factory training to stay current with new products and installation techniques. This ensures your equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications and your warranty remains intact.
Absolutely. We regularly perform installations at marinas throughout the Medford and Port Jefferson area. Many of our clients prefer this approach because it eliminates the need to trailer their boat to our facility.
We coordinate directly with marina management to ensure we have proper access and electrical power for our work. Our mobile installation setup includes all the tools and equipment needed to complete professional installations at your slip.
For complex installations requiring multiple days, we can work with the marina to ensure your boat remains secure overnight. We’ve established relationships with most major marinas on Long Island, which helps streamline the process.
Comprehensive training is included with every installation. We don’t consider the job complete until you’re completely comfortable operating all your new equipment. This includes hands-on instruction while we’re tied to the dock and during the sea trial.
We’ll show you how to set up your preferred screen layouts, program waypoints, adjust sonar settings for different fishing conditions, and integrate your systems for maximum efficiency. For complex systems, we provide written operating guides specific to your installation.
Many clients also appreciate follow-up support after they’ve had a chance to use their electronics for a few trips. We’re always available to answer questions or provide additional training as needed.
All our installation work comes with a comprehensive workmanship warranty that covers wiring, connections, and mounting for two full years. This is separate from and in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment itself.
If any installation-related issue develops, we’ll return to diagnose and correct the problem at no charge. This includes everything from loose connections to water intrusion in our wiring runs.
We also maintain detailed documentation of every installation, including wiring diagrams and component locations. This makes future service or modifications much more efficient and helps preserve your boat’s resale value.
Waterproofing is critical in marine electronics, and we use only marine-grade components and sealing methods. Every through-hull penetration gets proper backing plates, marine sealants, and waterproof cable glands rated for continuous submersion.
All electrical connections use heat-shrink tubing with adhesive lining, and we apply additional marine-grade sealant at critical junction points. Cable runs are secured with marine-grade clamps and routed to avoid areas where water typically accumulates.
We also install proper drainage and ventilation around electronics mounting areas to prevent condensation buildup. Before completing any installation, we conduct water testing to verify all seals are effective and will remain so under normal operating conditions.
